My Parents Inspire Me

My Mom, Cleo Ane Kirkwood, (May 12, 1938- July 1, 2015). She truly and intuitively knew how to teach to the child using humour, kindness, compassion and fun! In this picture she is all dressed up. In conversations that we had, she told me she did not care for being all dressed up as a little person ....but I wanted a picture of her on my website as a little girl, (her second birthday). I am still looking for a picture of her sitting on a drum when she was about 12 months old and had a huge grin on her face.

This is Mom circa 2006. playing the piano.She could read music well, but could play by ear VERY WELL! I remember one day when we were talking about the show,"HIllstreet Blues," and she played it , just like that with full rich chords.
My Mom, when living at Northern Spirit Maor in Thompson.
While living at Northern Spirit Manor she was an advocate for other residents that could not advocate for themselves. She also participated in the hand bell choir.
